Improving Efficiencies for Retail Agents
The Independent Agents & Brokers of America’s Agents Council for Technology (ACT), the American, Association of Managing General Agents (AAMGA) and the National Association of Professional, Surplus Lines Offices (NAPSLO) and ACORD formed a joint initiative to improve the efficiencies for Retail Agents (RAs) interacting with managing General Agents (GAs) and wholesale brokers in the Excess & Surplus (E&S) market and to promote the electronic exchange of data between the partners.
Best Practice Workflows in the E&S Industry & the Critical Role that Standards Play (Recorded Webinar)
This session is designed for retail agents, general agents and E&S and specialty carriers. It will identify the “best practice” workflows that retail agents would like to see from their general agents and wholesalers within the next 12 months and 12-24 months from now. The webinar will review the efforts underway to standardize the reporting that coverholders must provide to their London brokers and how the E&S carriers are developing standards customized by ACORD for the E&S industry to automate general agent quoting with multiple carriers. The webinar also will focus on how retail agents, general agents and E&S and specialty carriers can get involved to promote and implement these efficiency enhancing measures more broadly in the E&S industry.
